About my works

Contemporary Ceramic Art by Mujde

I am a Dublin-based ceramic artist creating hand-built, limited edition ceramics that explore material, texture, and surface. Using recycled glass, layered surfaces, and eco-friendly materials, I craft functional ceramics, sculptural pieces, and wall panels designed for galleries, collectors, and meaningful gifts.

Each work reflects my philosophy of transformation: emotional fossils from the past are reshaped through peace and acceptance into the experiences that make us who we are. Every piece is entirely handmade and conceived as a unique, limited edition artwork where material and emotion intersect.

These ceramics are perfect as thoughtful gifts, design objects, or contemporary art pieces for your home, studio, or gallery. Designed for safe and secure display, they bring both aesthetic beauty and conceptual depth to any space.

Under the Surface Series

Like a broken glass bottle turned into art,
our emotional fossils transform through peace and acceptance
into the experiences that make us who we are.

No regret. Only transformation.

This series explores emotional fossils and memory. Each work invites viewers to reflect on their unconscious impulses and the traces of past experiences—metaphorically linked to the hidden landscapes beneath the ocean’s surface. Individually, each piece stands as a unique artwork; together, the series forms an immersive, large-scale wall installation.

The pieces are crafted using clay, recycled glass, and eco-friendly materials. Fired at 1,200°C and shaped with specialized techniques, they are designed for safe and secure wall installation, allowing galleries or private collectors to display them confidently for many years.

Each artwork engages with material, surface, and light, evoking subconscious memories and emotional traces. The combination of porcelain and recycled glass preserves shine and durability, ensuring heirloom-quality pieces that carry conceptual depth and aesthetic value.

As a Dublin-based ceramic artist, this series embodies both a philosophical approach and lasting visual impact, offering galleries, collectors, curated exhibitions, and public art projects meaningful and immersive experiences.

Like a broken glass bottle turned into art,
The past is not erased, it is reshaped.
